A view on Fishing,Community and Life on the NW coast of Scotland

Despite a breeze from the north it is a hot summer’s day in Applecross. Having been out the last two days on the water and last night at the Inn, no fishing was planned today. A form that needed signing was forgotten last night so it was on the Volt and up the road with Dougal. Age and heat prevented Jenny coming and Eildh’s shoulder needs rested, so it was just me and the boy. Stopped at the top of the brae to share the view with Mark IMG_0480 and then a meander up to the Inn. Beauty all the way IMG_0468 and the way home, IMG_0472 a cooling stop for the Dougal. IMG_0476 Perfect hay making weather. IMG_0483 Yesterday evening’s light took a few people outside with their post meal drinks. IMG_0464
