A view on Fishing,Community and Life on the NW coast of Scotland

Nasty day weather wise, but if it did not rain we would not be living in such a green country. Around May when we have had a month of easterlies the hillside always looks so grey. Now there are many shades of green. Looking across the Bay yesterday evening after all the rain whitewater was making its way down the hillsides.

Today was Judith’s first day back and she dealt with the Porsche Club who arrived at lunch time and the day went well, busy but not overly so and as I left at 6 gearing up for the Vintage Car Club was under way. There was a lack of information about this group but as some had booked into the Inn the group was already getting smaller…if that makes any sense.

They had begun arriving late afternoon.

  1. Same here Ali, we have never seen so many waterfalls in our valley. Glad I was there in Applecross last week… That beautiful evening on Sunday was just the fix I needed.

Seen some spectacular weather in Switzerland over the last week, hurricanes and golf ball size hail stones in amongst all the rain. Good to see you.
