A view on Fishing,Community and Life on the NW coast of Scotland

Photos of the adverts are coming in thick and fast and are picking up lots of likes for the competion. I am putting mine in today but will need assistance in getting them on to the GP page. There have been an encouraging number of shares and we have heard that there was an article in the Metro magazine, London. Every little helps.

Stopping to take photos for a Facebook campaign is an unusual turn of events while fishing for langoustines on The Inner Sound but if it helps so be it. Alison met with the Health Board today and felt it was a very positive meeting although they feel it will be quite hard to fill the post and they are well impressed by the Facebook campaign. There appears to have been several expressions of interest so far. It is good to see so many people getting involved, from helping with the IT and taking pictures to just sharing and liking. Applecross needs a GP is the page on Facebook if anyone is interested or knows anyone who may fancy one of the best GP jobs in the country. Please note that all sea life that posed for the photos were put back live apart from the squat lobster and prawn. One already eaten and the other will be off to Barcelona next week.
