A view on Fishing,Community and Life on the NW coast of Scotland

Applecross Contrast

I’ve been at the Inn for the lunch time shift and everything went well but really busy. A very pleasant group of Germans arrived, had lunch and departed very content and satisfied. Weather, setting food and service seems to have done the trick.

On the way down the road after landing prawns for the Loch Ness Inn the scene passing Millton Loch was silent, peaceful in the morning mist. This is only three hours before the Germans arrived.

Now it is off out to the quiet chaos of the garden. Planting out lettuce and kale and if time the sprouts. With Michael McGoldrick playing in the background, sun beating down and a breeze to keep the midges away, where better? Have to be back at the inn for the next wave of visitors coming for their evening meals. Lots of living going on over here just now. The minutes for to-morrow’s Board meeting will get done some how.
